How We Get To School

From reading our storyline you can see how students in Etzion Bloc get to school.  We thought you should also see how students at Mott and Emmanuel Christian travel.

At Mott, students either ride the bus, get rides from parents or friends, or drive themselves.  Students who drive must get a parking sticker each year.  To get a sticker they must present their identification card that verifies that they have twelve (12) or more credits.  Along with the identification card, students must show their driver's license, car registration, and proof of insurance.

At Emmanuel, students come from a radius of about 30 km by our own transportation system, public transit (which includes bus and train from off the island of Montreal), or from rides by parents or friends. Because students graduate from high school after grade 11 in our system, very few are of legal age to drive their own vehicles to school. In fact, this academic year, none of the students are driving themselves to school. Montreal is reputed to have the best and least expensive public transportation in North America, which makes traveling around our city very easy and efficient and often very preferable to facing rush hour traffic in a big city!
